Join Blacksburg Young Professionals on Tuesday, February 25th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for our special February Mixer - Take Your Seat at the Table: Energizing Young Professionals for Community Impact at the German Club Manor in Blacksburg!This is an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded YP's interested in serving their community through service opportunities. We will share how to find opportunities in our region that fit with your busy schedule and expand understanding of the variety of non-profits in the area.
This event will go beyond just your typical mixer and include a speed dating like opportunity to connect with local non-profits in the area! The non-profits will include organizations that work with animals, the environment, arts & culture, and affordable housing.
Whether you have some experience working with a non-profit or are completely new to community service, this event will give you some new knowledge and resources to kickstart your journey toward new meaningful community engagement.
This event is hosted by the Blacksburg Young Professionals in partnership with The Community Foundation of the New River Valley and The Blacksburg Partnership.
