About this Event

THE SHOW
Powerhouses, Chuck Flowers and Roz White reunite in the city where they first met: St. Louis. Performing as “Take Two,” Flowers and White bring their full arsenal of talents to Tower Grove South, with stirring, soulful music that is sure to get you up out of your seat.
THE ARTISTS
Chuck Flowers is one of St. Louis’ most versatile and beloved entertainers — a vocalist, actor, and performer whose smooth sound and engaging stage presence have captivated audiences for over two decades. Recently inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame (2025), Chuck brings soul, humor, and authenticity to every performance.
Whether performing tributes to icons like Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, and Donny Hathaway or blending jazz, soul, and R&B into a single set, Chuck’s shows are soulful, humorous, and intimate — a reflection of his genuine love for music and people alike.
Roz White is an acclaimed singer-actor with over 40 years of performances on Broadway, regional stages, and screen. She was recently celebrated for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill at Mosaic Theater Company of DC and currently appears as Sybrina Fulton in the award-winning film Veils—Requiem for Trayvon.
A Helen Hayes Award recipient, Roz has starred in more than 100 productions nationwide and toured with the Broadway production of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical. As a featured vocalist, she has shared the stage with legends including Yolanda Adams and Stevie Wonder. Known for her rich storytelling and commanding presence, Roz White delivers performances that resonate long after the final note.
THE SPACE
The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Through music, art, and connection, WEvent Space invites all to be part of a shared creative experience in one of the neighborhood’s most unique venues.
