Take Back the Primary: A Prayer Gathering for Texas

On Sunday, March 1st, Texans from across our state will gather peacefully at the Texas State Capitol ahead of the March 3rd primary election.

We will come together in faith to pray for:

• God’s wisdom in this primary
• Integrity in leadership
• Protection over our families
• Courage to stand for truth
• Renewal in Austin

This is not a rally of anger, it is a gathering of prayer.

4:00–4:30 PM – Arrival & Fellowship
Connect, meet fellow Texans, greet pastors, candidates, and leaders.

4:30 PM – Opening
Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, and a brief welcome.

Speakers & Pastoral Prayer
Faith leaders and invited guests will share short messages on what is at stake in this primary and the future of Texas.

Jericho Walk Around the Capitol
We will walk around the Capitol grounds seven times, symbolically and prayerfully, as an act of faith and unity just as the Israelites did at Jericho.

Music will accompany the walk.

Closing Prayer & Fellowship
Opportunity for testimonies, brief reflections, and continued connection.

Candidates and local officials may be present to engage respectfully with attendees afterwards.
