About this Event
Join our launch event for brand-new student and youth direct action movement and activist network to tackle air polution in Birmingham.
The air we breathe in our city is toxic. It’s time to organise and take collective action to bring change to the air we breathe on our streets, around our homes, schools, parks, and hospitals.
Birmingham is one of the UK's most polluted cities, and toxic air is harming our health and our future with up to 1000 annual deaths linked to air pollution. We won’t stand by.
On November 30th, we’re kicking off the initiative by bringing together Brum's finest to spark a clean air movement that will hold our local leaders accountable.
At the launch event you’ll learn how you can get involved in local public affairs work, hear from some inspiring activists, meet some local policy makers, and have a chance to join an activist network and take part in our first public action - delivering a powerful message directly to the West Midlands Metro Mayor’s office.
This is your chance to join a collective that’s committed to turning the tide on toxic air in Birmingham and the West Midlands region.
It’s time to get loud, get active, and get clean air firmly on the political agenda. Your voice can make the difference—be part of the solution
