About the presenter:

Robert R. West, Jr. is the Community Development Manager of Central & North Florida for TD and has been in banking for 24 years. Before banking, Mr. West was in retail management for 5 years with big box stores and athletic retailers. Mr. West has served as an adjunct business professor and has an interest in organizational learning, personal development, and diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI).
Mr. West specializes in consulting low-to-moderate income communities on the lending opportunities for home ownership and small business & commercial banking solutions. Also, seeks non-profit partnerships with a strategic focus on creating a more inclusive future in the areas of Financial Security, Vibrant Planet, Connected Communities and Better Health in underserved communities.

Mr. West is a Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a combat engineer and in the U.S. Marine Corps as a recruiter. Mr. West separated from the Marine Corps with the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6).

Mr. West played collegiate lacrosse and holds a BS in Education from Liberty University, a MEd in Instruction from the University of Virginia, and is All But Dissertation with a EdD in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University. Mr. West's studies include organizational leadership, human resources, project management, cultural intelligence (CQ) and sales performance.

Mr. West is a senior athlete and competes in track & field. His hobbies include reading, working out and visiting beaches and amusement parks.
