About this Event
Please register with the name and information of 1 adult who is attending, then choose the total number of adults and children attending for each family in the drop down menus. Please do not register each person separately. Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian. All participants will sign a release before the event begins, please arrive at 6pm.
Join Sarasota County Park Naturalist Pete Garcia for a youth-friendly lesson on saltwater fishing. Your child will have the opportunity to learn how to fish safely from the shoreline. We will teach children how to cast and bait their own hooks, as well as how to properly catch and release fish like trout, snook, jacks, ladyfish, redfish, snapper, grouper, bluefish, and much more. Our staff love sharing their passion for sport fishing and we hope to create a new generation of anglers. Tight Lines!
