TAIV Foto Book Club presentsO se Boloke, a photo book launch and conversation with Ntikana Ramohlale
๐ 26 September | ๐ 6 PM | The Forge, Braamfontein
This conversation journeys with Ntikana as he reflects on curating his photobook and the dialogues it sparks around photography and life in the Eastern Cape, Limpopo, and Gauteng.
The book spans four years of documentary photography, highlighting the central themes that have shaped Ntikanaโs work: being young and Black in South Africa, the socio-political state of the country, faith, religion, spirituality, and the idea of home. Alongside the images, the book offers a written account of the philosophies and lived experiences that informed this body of work, documenting the everyday lives of South Africans across these provinces.
The conversation will be moderated by @talkingfeminist
