Taipei Poetry Collective is collectively pleased to announce a one-nite-only poetry reading to celebrate the launch of our online magazine TPCReview and to mark 7 years (!) of reading, writing, and workshopping poetry. Come along to Two Three Comedy Club in Zhongshan on the 19th October to celebrate this occasion with us.
Treat yourself to a feast of poetry written and read by 24 Taipei poets. There will be opera, piano compositions, a photographer to capture the night’s looks, a live visual artist, and dj younger dryas from nectar to commence our afterparty and keep you wiggling until the night closes its petals—this will be an evening of deep connection & we hope, heartfelt impressions.
From wine to cider, cocktails to craft beer, coconut water to whiskey, the bar’s got you covered with reasonably priced refreshments. There are also snacks and bar food available (pizza, popcorn, chicken nuggets, and wings).
Come for an evening of verse, visuals, music, performance & opera. Stay for the sips, snacks, & of course, connection.
Doors open at 6:30 pm
Please arrive no later than 7:15 pm
The night's readings and performances will begin at 7:30 pm sharp

About TPC
Taipei Poetry Collective was established in 2017 and offers in-person poetry workshops twice a month. TPC supports poets based in Taiwan and elsewhere looking to share, develop, and workshop their writing. We believe in fostering a spirit of growth, and work via critical and constructive feedback to all participants.
We host live poetry events in addition to critique, generative, and developmental workshops. You might catch the occasional online session for poets who have moved away. Every April we celebrate national poetry month by writing, critiquing, and enjoying poetry together via online and live platforms. We are in the process of launching our inaugural issue of TPCReview.
