Leash up and head on down the trail, because we’re bringing adoptable pups to Tractor Supply Co. in Ventura on September 7th and 21st! From 12 pm to 3 pm both days, our shelter dogs will be trading kennels for country charm, hanging out by the store, wagging their tails, and waiting to meet you.Tractor Supply isn’t just where you stock up on feed, gear, and supplies; it’s a gathering place for folks who love animals. Now it’s also the place where you might meet your new best friend! From energetic “farmhands” ready to romp, to laid-back buddies who’d rather nap on the porch, we’ll have a whole lineup of dogs eager to join your family.
Special event pricing: Adoptions are just $25!
That’s right, you can bring home a new four-legged family member the same day for only $25! Stop by to say hi, toss a few belly rubs their way, and maybe even load up your car with more than just kibble. You could head home with a loyal companion by your side! Our friendly HSVC staff and volunteers will be there to guide you through the process and share how you can also support through fostering, volunteering, or donating.
Included with every dog adoption is the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery (if necessary), as well as a collar, ID tag (given at a later date), and a leash.
Not quite ready to adopt? No problem! Come by anyway to give our pups some love and practice their “real-world skills.” It’s good for the dogs, and it’s bound to brighten your day too.
