Tailored 1-1 Support : Getting a JobThanks to Birmingham City Council for funding our Ukrainian Project, we are absolutely delighted to be able to offer tailored 1-1 employability sessions to Ukrainians living in Birmingham.
We would like to offer you a fantastic opportunity to join one of our practical 1-1 sessions that covers how to improve your IT skills and increase your chances of getting a job. You will also be able to access all of our useful resources.
Every Tuesday for the next four weeks (18th June – 9th July) we happily invite you in to Centrala where you can meet Darren, our fantastic Employment Advisor, who can support you to:
- Practice your English speaking and listening in a safe and friendly space
- Gain valuable work-related IT skills in Teams, Zoom, Email, and Microsoft Word
- Create or update your own CV and Cover Letter
- Navigate the UK labour market when searching for jobs
- Improve your interview skills and increase your resilience
- Find out more about the type of vocabulary used in the UK job market
- Enjoy a hot drink at our very cool and atmospheric canal-side location.
At Centrala, we really understand the challenges of adapting to life in a new city and trying to find work. This is why we do what we do: to help you to achieve independence and confidence in building your new life in Birmingham.
