🎤 About the Concert
Let your soul travel across continents in one unforgettable night.
Melodies of the Sky brings together the ancient folk traditions of Japan and Turkey in a musical journey under Sweden’s northern skies.
🌸 From Japan:
Taiko - Japanese Drum master Ryo Shiobara ( https://ginyudajin.com/ ) and Shinobue - Japanese Flute artist Aren Kazumi offer a visceral performance — thunderous, meditative, and deeply rooted in nature.
Supported by Stockholm Taiko, led by cultural producer Maki Kobayashi ( https://www.thezenjo.com/ ), their sound brings Japanese festivals and spirits to life.

🌄 From Turkey:
The folk ensemble Sameyda carries the soul of Anatolia in their music. With the saz, voice, and rhythm, they weave stories of longing, joy, and resilience.
🌌 And finally:
An improvised collaboration between Japanese and Turkish musicians – a musical dialogue across traditions and time. Rhythmic, unexpected, transcendent.
Join us for this rare cross-cultural celebration — where East meets East, and music becomes the language that unites us all.
