🎤 About the Concert
Experience two rich musical traditions on one stage!
This special night features powerful Japanese Taiko drumming and soulful Shinobue flute, alongside the heartfelt sounds of Turkish folk music from the ensemble Sameyda.
Each group will present their own tradition with depth and authenticity—different worlds, shared stage.
🇯🇵 From Japan:
Taiko - Japanese Drum master Ryo Shiobara ( https://ginyudajin.com/ ) and Shinobue - Japanese Flute artist Aren Kazumi offer a visceral performance — thunderous, meditative, and deeply rooted in nature.
Supported by Stockholm Taiko, led by cultural producer Maki Kobayashi, their sound brings Japanese festivals and spirits to life.

🇹🇷 From Turkey:
The folk ensemble Sameyda carries the soul of Anatolia in their music. With the saz, voice, and rhythm, they weave stories of longing, joy, and resilience.
Adding to the atmosphere, Jana Janicka enchants the stage with her captivating belly dance, blending elegance and power in every movement.

🌌 And finally:
An improvised collaboration between Japanese and Turkish musicians – a musical dialogue across traditions and time. Rhythmic, unexpected, transcendent.
Join us for this rare cross-cultural celebration — where East meets East, and music becomes the language that unites us all!
