Meet QiQi:
My name is Qiqi, I am a Chinese Tai Chi enthusiast. When I went for a walk in the park one day more than ten years ago, I happened to see an old man playing Tai Chi, his Tai Chi was very rich in power, very serene and different, I was deeply impressed, and from then on I decided that I would learn Tai Chi properly. At that time I was teaching at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, where Yang's Tai Chi was flourishing. I studied Qigong and Tai Chi with two masters for many years, and later joined the National Wushu Association of China, and also took the Yang's Tai Chi Teaching Training Certificate from the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau.
In 2021, I came to Perth and taught Tai Chi at the Confucius Institute at UWA and Claremont Community, sometimes by invitation. After coming to Perth in 2021, I taught Tai Chi at several primary and secondary schools to give Tai Chi experiences to teachers and students. After many years of practice, I am deeply impressed by the benefits of Tai Chi for physical and mental health, so I would like to introduce more people to Tai Chi and its practice.
We welcome you to experience Tai Chi as a "meditation in movement" to regulate your body and mind, to keep your energy and positive mood every day, and to achieve balance and harmony between your body and mind.
