Tai Chi, also known as “meditation in motion”, is an ancient martial art form. It combines slow, flowing movements with deep breathing to connect the mind to the body. Some benefits include increased coordination, balance, and muscle strength. Each class will also include Qi Gong, which translates to “energy exercise”. Qi Gong is great for anxiety and stress reduction and helps cultivate vital life force energy, which runs through all living things. For this class, no experience is required! I teach modified Sun and Yang forms of Tai Chi. Loose, comfortable clothes are best for this type of exercise.
