Introduction
Tai Chi and Qi Gong are ancient Chinese practices that promote physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being through gentle movements, breath control, and meditation.
This workshop aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, fostering relaxation, balance, and inner harmony.
Workshop Objectives
Introduce participants to the basic principles and movements of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
Enhance relaxation, mindfulness, and stress management skills.
Improve posture, flexibility, and overall body coordination.
Teach breathing techniques to promote energy flow and vitality.
Encourage long-term integration of these practices into daily life.
Workshop Structure
1. Introduction and Warm-Up (5-10minutes)
Brief history and benefits of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
Gentle stretching and warm-up exercises to prepare the body.
2. Qi Gong Practice (10-20 minutes)
Basic standing postures and movements.
Breathwork and energy cultivation techniques.
Flowing sequences to enhance relaxation and focus.
3. Tai Chi Fundamentals (20-30 minutes)
Introduction to key Tai Chi principles: posture, balance, and movement.
Demonstration and guided practice of foundational movements.
Simple Tai Chi form practice.
4. Closing and Q&A (10-15 minutes)
Guided meditation and cool-down exercises.
Reflection and discussion on experiences and benefits.
Q&A session for further inquiries.
