Participate in a basic introduction to Tai Chi movement based on a family style that leverages both the Yang and Chen styles with large movements, the opportunity for low stances and movements that can range from easy to strenuous yet are always fluid. Learn from a lifelong student and teacher of Tai Chi and other martial arts the basic practices and benefits of Tai Chi. Learn to slow your mind to maintain control under stress or when fatigued, proper dynamic flexibility to compliment static stretching and other workouts and a heightened awareness of movement and posture (the mind/body connection) enabling the development of healthy body mechanics. All ages and abilities will benefit. Wear comfortable clothing.
