Taiji (also known as Tai Chi) is an ancient Chinese martial art that combines gentle flowing movements with deep breathing and meditation. Our class is designed to introduce you to the foundations of Taiji in a friendly and supportive environment catering to individuals with varying levels of fitness and experience.
Every class start with a set of gentle joint warm-up exercises a few minutes of basic Taiji stance. Then Taiji routines will be introduced move by move along with short drills for practicing the basic techniques.
Wear loose comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Taiji is often practiced barefoot.
