Tag, You’re It.

Again.

A self-reflective collage workshop with Seema Shah.

In this collage workshop, participants will create mini ‘self-portraits’ on shipping tags. Seema will describe the intuitive process behind her collages. By bringing metaphor and symbolic imagery to the surface, this process can convey a “felt sense” and express what is beyond words and/or conscious knowing.

Using her collaged tags as an example, Seema will show how these works can lead to greater self-understanding. She will also share some “self-taught tips” she regularly uses in her collage practice.

Scissors, glue sticks, and magazines for collage will be provided. (Feel free to bring your own supplies, as well as additional collage materials.)

All levels of artistic experience welcome.

Tea and cookies with be provided.
