If you're a member of FUELhouse you either know all about it or can't stop hearing our coaches talk about the StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge. This might be, hands down, our favorite event/Holiday of the year to host in October. It's too hard to put into words all the amazing things that happen around training for the TSC and the magic that happens on the actual day. Squads are for all levels (we love training beginners for the TSC;). Honestly, every human should experience at least one TSC event in their life at FUELhouse. So here is everything you need to know…The StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge was started in 2002 by Pavel Tsatsouline. At the time, Pavel was looking for a way to help military and law enforcement operators test workplace performance, but the exercises involved are great for general fitness for everyone from military special forces operators to someone with a basic level of training.
The TSC is a semiannual strength competition consisting of three events: (1) a three-attempt powerlifting deadlift, (2) pull-ups/flexed-arm hang for max reps/time, and (3) kettlebell snatches/single are swings for max reps in a 5:00 time period.
Preparing requires your focus on different types of strength and endurance—as demanded by real life’s challenges. Join us for this fun spirited, worldwide strength event.
Individuals and groups from other gyms/studios are always welcome.
