A set of postcards with original artwork are available on the night.
Tickets are on a pay what you can basis with all proceeds towards Operation Olive Branch.
Drinks are BYOB.
Biographies:
Kaneng Lolang is of Bantu and Balkan origins, and orbits a multitude of contexts as improviser, singer-songwriter and producer. A few of her favourite things are: poetic dissonance, soil life and the decay of human supremacy.
Sara Juku is a self taught musical artist using sound as a tool of self discovery and a path to explore her Arab and African ancestry.
Ben Khan is an artist, musician and architectural designer from the AA school in London. His research under ‘More Human Systems’ explores the potentials of experimental space making, prioritising alternative states of togetherness in an ever-expanding technocratic landscape.
3EIB x SPACE FOR SWANA
SPACE FOR SWANA is 3EIB's latest project, a new East-London venue intended to creatively engage our hands, hearts and souls in the liberation of Palestine.
Opening its doors to the public on 14th September and running until the end of November 2024, SPACE FOR SWANA will serve as a site of discourse, activism and sharing intended to create meaningful solidarity with Palestinians and opressed peoples from the region.
Why SWANA?
We reject the colonial and geographically inaccurate term 'The Middle East', and favour the more neutral abbreviation for South West Asia and North Africa.
