Tabor Mountain Boys

Greg Stone together with Brad Price, Dale Jones and Max Tucker call themselves the Tabor Mountain Boys when performing their own original songs mixed with songs they enjoy from a variety of genres.
Greg Stone has been a musician for most of his life. For the past 20 years he has been involved with the bluegrass scene in the Pacific Northwest, performing in a band and teaching. He is the founder of Taborgrass, a group class for all instruments in Portland. Since the pandemic Greg has turned his music efforts to songwriting and recording.
Brad Price is known around the music community as Mr. Telecaster with his brilliant and inventive guitar playing. He and Greg have been performing as a duet for many years in the Portland area. Brad has also performed with many outstanding groups including The Trail Band with Marv Ross, Brooks Hill with Cindy Banks, and most recently The Deck Boys with KC Craine.
Dale Jones is a multi instrumentalist, producer and recording engineer who founded Thunder Crow Studio in Portland. His projects include the band Bulldozers, a band he formed, recorded and played in. He has been involved in the singer songwriter scene for many years as student and teacher and his collaborations include Robin Greene, Richey Bellinger, Chris Baron, Siena Christy, Ed Haynes and Ann Heyen.
Max Tucker is a drummer, producer and educator living in Portland, Oregon. He’s played with many bands– most notably, Francis and the Lights. He is currently teaching drums and playing actively in the fertile Portland music scene. He also co-leads an experimental electronic duo called SHINKA with multi-instrumentalist and polymath, DJ Fitzgerald.
