Last year we had "A Banner Year" - a year long series of quilted banners that turned out so good! We all had a great time and enjoyed making a monthly project together. This year we are introducing the Table Topper Series. Table Toppers are a practical and useful addition to any home. Whether they cover the dining table, a sofa table or a side table they bring warmth and charm to any space.In this series of classes we will meet on 2nd Saturday each month at 9:30 am and will feature a “Table Topper”. This may include table runners, placemats, tablecloths and even table decorations and centerpieces. We will improve on piecing, quilting, hand stitching, applique and free motion skills. (If Thursday is a better day for you to meet be sure to check out Table Topper Group I that meets on the 2nd Thursday at 1 pm).
While some projects may be finished in the class time, there may be others that require completion at home. For planning purposes classes will be scheduled for 3-4 hours.
A seat in the class is guaranteed for students obligating to the 12 month program. Anyone wanting to attend from time to time will be admitted only if space is available.
**This class is NOT for the absolute beginner. You must have some sewing/quilting experience.
Fee: The monthly fee for the class will be determined by the project. It will range from $45 – 75 per session with supplies included. There will be options to provide your own materials for some projects where that is appropriate.
Registration for the January class will be your indication that you will attend the series of classes for the year. Space is limited so register early. If you are only interested in attending occasionally contact Kelly to be added to the wait list for openings.
The January project will feature snowflakes and/or snowmen similar to photo.
