What is your Covid safety policy?

Masks are optional but HIGHLY SUGGESTED. We weighed the risks and benefits, and decided to leave it to the individuals to decide if they want to wear a mask, but encourage folks to do so, especially when they are not tying/in ropes.
We require proof of the updated 2023-2024 COVID vaccine, meaning you got your most recent dose in or after September 2023. We will ask to see proof of the up to date vaccine at the door.
Please take a rapid covid test within 4 hours of the start of the event. Meaning, if the event starts at 7pm take your test after 3pm. You can test before you come or you can test onsite, but note that if you test onsite you will be required to keep your mask on until your results are ready. We will ask to see your negative covid test at the door (time-stamped photo or the actual test if you test onsite). It's recommended to swab your throat as well as your nostrils in order to get accurate results! We have a limited number of rapid tests available for those who forgot to test.

The venue is up one flight of stairs. There are two single-stall bathrooms available down the hall. The space gets quite warm in the summer. There will be snacks, tea, and water available. This is a sober space. The venue is just one room - if you find it overstimulating and/or need to take a break, you're free to leave, clothed, and re-enter when ready; note that if you leave the building you will have to be buzzed in again. We'll ensure that anyone who reports an allergy has snack options.
