It’s that time of year again! Let’s come together to fill the shelves of our local Tūrangi Foodbank and support whānau who need a helping hand in our community.Across Aotearoa, Foodbanks are seeing a huge demand. This is our chance to give back and show what our small but mighty town can do 💚
When you hear the sirens in your street, be ready at your gate with your donations! 🔔
🕔 When:
5.00pm – Meet in the carpark opposite the Tūrangi Police Station
5.15pm – Safety briefing
5.30pm – The fire siren sounds to kick off the drive!
🚗 What we need:
Non-perishable kai (food)🍽️
Volunteers to help as runners and walkers 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Vehicles with trailers or utes 🛻
If you are able to help out, please contact the Foodbank office on 0800 926 040 to register your details.
🍽️Suggested kai donations:
Baked beans, spaghetti, pasta, sauces, tinned fruit or veges, cereal, biscuits, tea, coffee, flour, toiletries, soup, noodles, and anything that helps put a meal on the table.
