BLUE ZERO (POST PUNK/OAKLAND)
Blue Zero is an alternative rock band from Oakland, California formed by Marbled Eye / Public Interest guitarist, Chris Natividad. Their debut 2024 LP "Colder Shade Blue" saw influences from Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and Swervedriver with long meandering passages that toe the line between shoegaze, indie and post-punk. Their latest "Confusion" EP continues those themes but with a more direct approach, not afraid to combine noise with pop melodies
