About this Event

Systematic Problem Solving: A Practical Approach

Are you tired of applying Band-Aids to recurring issues in your manufacturing processes? If repeated attempts to solve problems have failed, you may be stuck in a cycle that drains your organization's time, money, and resources. Break this cycle by learning how to define your problem and determine when root cause identification is necessary to uncover the optimal solution.

Join us for a lunch-n-learn to:

  • Learn about root cause analysis, a process-based method that can be applied to problems within your company.
  • Understand when a root cause analysis is needed versus when a quick fix will suffice.
  • Discover tools that empower every team member to solve problems, boosting productivity and morale.

Event includes lunch, networking, presentation, and Q&A.

Speaker:

Katie Hines, GaMEP Project Manager, Operational Excellence

Katie uses her extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and quality management to drive process improvement efforts and provide cutting-edge solutions for manufacturing companies throughout Georgia. She is focused in Lean Manufacturing, Process Optimization, Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Occupational Safety, and Ergonomics.

She holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering, B.S. in Polymer and Fiber Engineering, and Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Ergonomics from Auburn University.

*This quarterly lunch and learn educational series will deliver actionable tips and tools of the trade specifically designed to help Georgia Manufacturers grow their business.
