Greetings! You and yours are cordially invited to attend the Syria Shrine Highlanders Ball. We will be celebrating our 67th Anniversary as a unit in the Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. To mark this event we are planning a dinner on November 18, 2023 at our beautiful Shrine Center in Cheswick.
Members, former members, families and friends of the Highlanders are all invited to help us celebrate this milestone. This unit has a long and proud history representing Pittsburgh’s Syria Shrine and the Shriners Hospitals for Children. We uphold not only the fraternal ideals represented by the Shriners, but also maintain for many of us a Scottish tradition that goes back many years. The love of the “pipes and drums” has kept this unit together and growing through the past 67 years. Many functions and parades are now history-but the friendships and support to the Shriner Kids will continue long into the future.
The course of the ballroom evening will include “The Address to the Haggis” and a massed band. Pipers and drummers attending are invited to participate with us in the massed band.
Please join us for an evening of libations, dinner, fun and entertainment by completing and returning the reservation form.
