Sticky People is electronic music that ranges from funky breakbeats to experimental drones and several stops in between. Mixing pulsing rhythms with ethereal soundscapes and catchy melodies, Sticky People presents electronic music in a manner that is spontaneous and sensitive to the vibe of the room. Whether the process involves live remixing of tracks and turning them into dubby dancefloor bangers, or improvising synth lines, live looping and flipping the whole thing on its ear with effect experimentation, Sticky People is a sound that is rooted in experimentation with pop hooks and melody. Did we mention the basslines thump?
telephonetic is the solo project of Joshua Loveland. It combines his love of 90s club music with ambient soundscapes and indie pop melodies. While telephonetic recordings utilize a number of studio tricks, live shows feature an all-hardware approach to electronic music. You will get to see any number of vintage and modern synthesizers being played and sequenced before your very eyes. In addition to telephonetic and his day job, Joshua also plays in Hard Hugs, Ty Walker and the Humanoids, and the David and Deidre Casey Band.
snowschool is the electronic music project of Josh Stumberg. Whether producing music, DJing, or geeking out about synths, Josh just loves to boogy. And also loves throwing Synthesis nights with coplanner Hana. We know MT wants more dancing so we are bringing it. Les go!
