The veteran Jesper Zeuthen is one the most distinct and uncompromising saxophonists on the Danish jazz scene. A saxophonist with a unique tone, always on the search for at personal expression in music. Jesper Zeuthen emerged as a musician in the end of the 60's, and has first and foremost been a part of the more experimental part of the jazz spectrum, working with musicians such as Don Cherry, John Tchicai, Peter Kowald, Marilyn Mazur and Hamid Drake. In his later years he has worked with wide array of younger musicians, for whom his deeply personal approach to music has been a sought after quality.
