Dr. Paul C. Wang, DACM, LAc is a seasoned practitioner and lineage transmitter of Dao Arts, which align mind with body, self with other, and culture with nature.
Dr. Wang specializes in teaching integrative self-care methods to counterbalance the stressors of modern lifestyle because he believes collective wellness depends on cultivating individual wholeness.
Yaeko Stayton is a traditional Japanese tea ceremony practitioner and student of ChadÅ (The Way of Tea) in the Urasenke lineage. Through tea, she offers moments of presence and connection.
She is visiting from Victoria, Canada just for the weekend and will be available for private sits the following day, on Sunday.
She will serve usucha (thin matcha tea) prepared in the traditional bonryaku style.
Buckminster Barrett is a young but steadfast student of Chinese tea and the philosophies and principles below and around it. As co-owner and tea manager at Soft Medicine Sanctuary, he founded the Deep Creek Collective as a reflection of an undying love for this plant, which only continues to grow. This collective is dedicated to providing wares, experiences, and artisanal teas, curated for budding palettes and curious hearts. May we co-create a simple platform upon which tea culture--and the people connected to it--can be explored, upheld, and communed with in harmony.
