The portrayl of science can often take the form of a sober lecture or museum exhibit, and yet via the medium of film, the representation can transcend the straightforward educational realm and focus on the mind boggling, and truly aesthetic qualities. This programme of left field shorts - often startling in their depiction - explores a range of science and technology subjects, frequently accompanied by electronic and experimental sounds. For this tenth in the series of Synch Pulse events, Ian Helliwell will present a selection of films together with a special technology themed dance performance featuring a new electronic music soundtrack.
