"In general, moving-image work that transcends the normal constraints of cinema projection. An avant-garde performance practice originating in the 1960s and 1970s, mainly in Europe and North America, involving multimedia performances—including, for example, video, music, television, computer art, laser shows, shadow play, and live art—alongside film images projected on single screens, multiple screens, or no screens."

"After Golf"
There are 16,000 golf courses in the United States — more active courses than the total number of McDonald’s stores nationwide. But golf is a sport in decline with hundreds of courses closing every year. Across the country, dozens of recently-closed golf courses have been protected and restored as public greenspaces in an active process called re-wilding.
"After Golf" celebrates several re-wilded golf courses in the Eastern United States, including two in the Pittsburgh area. After Golf brings these greenspaces indoors, depicting video footage of the sites projected onto three screens with synced audio. The program will be built dynamically in the room from images of green, elements of original score, found footage, and cover versions of British Yacht Rock classics.
