On November 8, we celebrate the Synaxis of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, and of the other bodiless and heavenly orders, the Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Powers, Authorities, Principalities, Archangels and Angels. In commemoration of the sacred attitude of the Nine Orders of Angels, who firmly serve the righteousness and God’s philanthropy, the faithful celebrate the Synaxis of the Angels.
