The Nepal Geological Society (NGS) is commemorating the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) 2025 by organizing a one-day workshop on 17 October 2025 at Nepal Tourism Board Hall in Kathmandu. The global theme for this year is “Fund Resilience, Not Disasters”. The national slogan set by the Nepal Geological Society is “आज सामर्थ्य बढाऔ, भोलीको विपद टारौं".
In this connection, we invite members and well wishers to contribute through presentations and abstracts related to disaster risk reduction, geoscience, hazard assessment, risk management, resilience building, and related fields.
