The 2024 African Heritage Association of Vancouver Island entrepreneur expo is a unique opportunity for youth to gain insight into becoming an entrepreneur in Canada. By listening to accomplished African descent business owners showcase and share their start-up experiences, youths will be able to get a feel of what it takes to become a different type of employer, one they would like to have themselves.
The purpose of this 2024 AHAVI expo is to fast-track your initiative, by giving you access to the resources, connections, and facilities, required to transform your ideas and goals into a commercially viable venture or product at a business operational level.
We are inviting youth who are passionate about beauty and fashion, construction and real estate, entertainment and healthcare to join us this July for an insightful symposium that will be followed up by at least two financial workshops aimed at providing a general understanding about financial concepts and information useful for start-ups.
Workshop topics of discussion include.
Building Savings and Wealth generation
Increasing cash flow and debt management
Preparing for proper protection
Understanding asset accumulation strategies
Fulfilling long-term goals
Preserving your wealth and estate
Please note that the information provided at the expo is not intended to advise on tax, insurance, investment, or any product and service, but is only meant to guide you to make informed decisions that fit your needs and financial goals as you embark on your entrepreneurial journey.
This expo will be held in July. The date is to be announced. Sponsored by IDEA (Inclusion, diversity, equity)
