Symphony Saturdays 🎻is a free music experience for children in grades 1–3 and their families.Looking for a meaningful way to spend a Saturday morning with your child or grandchild? Symphony Saturdays invites young listeners to discover the orchestra through live music, hands-on exploration, and guided curiosity.
This free, four-week program introduces students in grades 1–3 to the instrument families of the orchestra through short performances and interactive participation, including an instrument “petting zoo.” Each week focuses on a different group of instruments, giving children the chance to see, hear, and experience how an orchestra comes together.
Families who attend all four sessions will receive tickets for the parent/guardian and child(ren) to attend the Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s March concert, Dawn of the Twentieth Century, on Saturday, March 14 or Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Register online today at https://www.cognitoforms.com/MarylandSymphonyOrchestra1/SymphonySaturdaysFrederick202526.
