About this Event
Lihtar Orchestra & Choir is incredibly happy to play some music for the Ukrainian Action charity once again! Join us for an evening of picturesque "symphonic canvases", featuring, among Debussy's and Bartók's masterpieces, "Grazhyna" - a tone poem of a Ukrainian modernist Borys Liatoshynsky, written after renowned Polish poet Adam Mickiewisz.
100% of proceedings go towards Ukrainian Action and will be converted into crucial aid, equipment and vehicles. As the date marking three (!) years since the start of the full-scale russian invasion approaches this February, we want to thank the British citizens for their undying support and to remind the local audience that this war is sadly not over - we hope you will keep standing with us until justice prevails.
