About this Event
Get your walking boots on and wander down to The Fish Factory for a very honest night of music and conversation. Doors open at 6pm allowing you to grab a drink and begin to sift through the exhibition of journal entries and poetry written over my teenage years to my early 20s, a private archive now brought to the public.
My support for the night begins at 7:15pm, Kezyana and Iona, two young local musicians who I trust will be a beauty. Following this myself and my accompaniment, Byron Gandhi-Livingstone, will play an hour or so of original music, an archive of my youth to follow the entries on the wall. This curated event acts as a chance to talk through my process and life line in a way I hope only relates to those who tend to feel a lot and wear their hearts on their sleeves.
To be a girl who shows her heart so openly doesn't leave with ease, it's tattooed on a wrist - after my performance you will see all that I mean by this with a piece of performance art to end the evening.
