The Sylvan Waters Duo is an ensemble that performs an eclectic repertoire of original works and transcriptions for concert harp and double bass. Bassist, Raymond Irving spent twenty-five years touring the country and the world with the United States Army Field Band, and now performs with orchestras throughout the Mid-Atlantic including Prince George’s Philharmonic, the Fredericksburg Symphony, and Two Rivers Orchestra. Harpist, Dr. Tula Ruggiero is Professor of Harp at Shepherd University, runs a private teaching studio, and freelances with orchestras and for private events throughout the region.All concerts are free and open to all.
