Having graced our screens in Australia and abroad for decades, Byran Brown returns home to Bankstown to discuss the secrets of his second crime novel The Drowning.
Missing persons, bodies found on the beach, and an international drug plot. Beloved actor and crime writer Bryan Brown’s second novel sees a sleepy northern NSW town get turned upside down.
A small town in northern New South Wales is slowly undone by the secrets that come to light when the body of a local teenage boy is found on the beach. Drugs, lies, and liaisons are set against the backdrop of the idyllic north coast in this gripping page turner, following on from the success of his debut, Sweet Jimmy.

About the Author:
Bryan Brown is an actor, author and self described 'westie' hailing from Panania in Sydney, NSW. Bryan lives in Nambucca Valley, NSW with wife and actress, Rachel Ward.
Bryan has appeared in over eighty film and television shows, most recently being the Netflix adaptation of Boy Swallows Universe (written by Trent Dalton).
Sweet Jimmy, consisting of seven short stories on crime, was released in 2021. The Drowning is his second book
