About this Event

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Sydney Rende to celebrate and discuss her new book, ; a debut story collection following ten ambitious women and one male superstar as they pursue their desires—however deluded—for more.

Sydney will be joined in conversation by Naomi Xu Elegant, author of . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Sydney will also sign copies of her book.


ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sydney Rende has lived in New York City and Southern California, where she had her own odd brushes with celebrities. Her fiction has appeared in Joyland, Carve Magazine, and elsewhere, and she’s dabbled in travel and fashion writing for T: The New York Times Style Magazine and Who What Wear. She has an MFA in fiction from Syracuse University.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Naomi Xu Elegant is a writer and journalist living in New York City. Her work has appeared in Monocle, Fortune, Atlas Obscura, and elsewhere. Gingko Season is her debut novel.
