San Xavier Mine Tours for Undergraduate and Undecided UofA Students interested in Mining Engineering and Mineral Resources
Undergraduate students are invited to tour the University of Arizona's San Xavier Underground Mine operated by the School of Mining Engineering and Mineral Resources on Saturday,February 7th OR Saturday, March 7th!
Times with transporation included: 9am-2pm
Times of tour without transporation included: 10am-1pm
Free food and prizes will be provided!
- Deadline to sign up is 5 days before the tour date
- Space is limited so if you register, you MUST attend.
- Students are encouraged to carpool amongst themselves.
- Transportation provided if needed, however students must show up & attend if they signed up for transportation.
- For those needing transportation, please arrive to Mines & Metallurgy Building at 9 am, the can will depart at 9:10 am SHARP.
- Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
- If you RSVP, please uphold the commitment as supplies and space is limited.
