About this Event
After more than a year away, we are *finally* and we cannot wait to welcome you all back.
We have EIGHT open mic spots up for grabs for this event. As usual, poets will have six minutes in total, with time to read both their own work, and the work of a total stranger also performing.
Our headliner is the fantastic Lisa O'Hare. Lisa has been an absolute lifeline during lockdown, and has published her first book 'Lockdown Life: A Rollercoaster of Emotions' with Master House Publishing. Lisa has been a supporter of Switchblade Poetry ever since our first few sessions way, way back in late 2019 and we are absolutely over the moon to have her join us as a headliner.
50% of the proceeds from this event will be going to a local women's charity so make sure you come along and dig deep.
We will be bringing a raffle to the event with 100% of these proceeds going to charity, too.
