About this Event
Every human being has encountered difficult and hard situations. The question is not "Can I avoid something 'bad' happening in life?", but rather "How can I live a healthy and thriving life, no matter what has happened?"
Early in her studies of the brain, Dr. Caroline Leaf began to be excited about what she saw as the ability within our minds to control every facet of our lives, even down to the cellular level of our own bodies. Applying the study of epigenetics to the practical questions of health and wellbeing, Dr. Leaf was encouraged at the progress of the people she served in her practice and her experiences as a Communications Pathologist and Cognitive Neuroscientist.
An early enthusiast for recognizing the plasticity of the brain and the hope that can come as people take action towards mind, body, and spirit wellbeing, Dr. Leaf’s book is an encouragement to anyone who wants to rise above their circumstances and begin to thrive.
