In this class we will create a Swirl Table Topper in summer colors! You will use Lori Holt's Mercantile fabric and Creative Grids 60 degree diamond ruler. The 60 degree diamond ruler can be used to cut diamonds, triangles, hexagons, parallelograms, trapezoids, and 120 degree side-setting triangles up to 8-1/2in. Once you learn this technique using the Creative Grids 60 degree diamond ruler you’ll be able to make table toppers for any season and in any colors! We will also learn to sew Y seams!Note: Class includes fabric kit for top and binding and Creative Grids 60 degree diamond ruler.
Note: Ironing station will be set up.

Required Materials: (Available for purchase at Humble Stitch if needed.)
Sewing Machine (You must be proficient in operating a sewing machine whether yours or ours.)
Rotary cutter
Small cutting mat
Scissors
Friction pen or other temporary marking pen/pencil
Note: You have the option to bring your own sewing machine or reserve one of ours. Thanks to our partnership with Hoover's Bernina Sew, we have Bernina 435 or 475, for classroom use. If you would like to reserve one of our machines, please let us know prior to the day of class.
