Summertime cooking is all about keeping things simple while taking advantage of all the amazing ingredients available. What better way than a freshly made salsa or dip? Easy and quick to make, these options are summertime in a single scoop.
Join monger and educator Adam Centamore for an evening exploring the world of one-handed eating! You'll enjoy a variety of recipes that range from classic Mexican table salsas like roasted tomatillo-orange or salsa diabla to richly flavored dips like beet tzatziki and whipped ricotta with lemon and ripe peach. We'll serve up all sorts of dipping options as well, from artisan breads and veggies to more unusual choices that keep things interesting. Adult beverages will be paired with everything to really keep things fun. It's sure to be a inspiring night of tastes and textures!
While enjoying everything, you'll learn the secrets behind each pairing and how to create amazing combinations at home. Recipes will be provided to make sure you can enjoy these delectable condiments all summer long.
To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a a tasting plate, drink samples, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reach out to [email protected] when you make your reservation if you or a member of your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions or requires seating. Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
