Inglewood, California — Get ready for a spectacular afternoon of music, art, and purpose as Pocket Jazz Presents and HOPE ACADEMY for Scholarship and Innovation proudly present “Swingin’, Singin’ & Givin’: Winterfest ’25,” hosted by producer, playwright, and spoken-word artist Robert J. Carmack, MFA. This unforgettable outdoor festival takes place Saturday, December 13, 2025, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Center of Hope L.A. Campus, 9550 Crenshaw Blvd., Inglewood, CA 90305.

An All-Star Jazz Lineup
Winterfest ’25 features a powerhouse roster of acclaimed and emerging talent:
• Willow Corrine — a dynamic young vocalist opening the celebration with fresh energy and soulful tones.
• The Mahesh Project — led by pianist Mahesh Balasooriya, paying tribute to jazz legend McCoy Tyner with a special spoken-word performance by Robert J. Carmack.
• Unofficial Slam featuring Gabriel “Slam” Nobles — a riveting quartet blending hard-bop drive with contemporary flair.
• Headliner: The Knick Smith Experience — Cleveland-born pianist and keyboardist Nick Smith, noted for collaborations with Stanley Clarke, George Duke, and NBC’s Tonight Show Band, closes the show with electrifying originals and jazz classics.
More Than Music
Festival-goers will enjoy gourmet food trucks, a vibrant ArtWalk and exhibit area, and a silent auction featuring high-end works from distinguished California artists. VIP tables and reserved seating are available exclusively through Eventbrite.com.

All proceeds benefit Center of Hope LA’s HOPE ACADEMY’s new educational facility, set to open in Fall 2026, expanding access to TK and STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), powered by The Pedagogy of Confidence™ for HOPE ACADEMY Scholars..
