Do you want to learn swing dancing so you can dance anytime the right music comes on? Say at parties, weddings, bars and, of course, swing events. Do you also want to be able to do so with confidence in your ability?Then these classes are for you.
Each Wednesday, we spend one hour learning fundamentals and figures in various swing dances and then practicing what we have learned in a social context.
The classes are both supportive and applied so that you can work on exactly what you need. And from week to week you will see that you become better and better.
The dances taught are:
• Lindy Hop
• Blues
• West coast swing
• Rock and Roll
• Balboa
We also spend six weeks at a time on a dance. That way you get to:
• understand each dance, and
• enhance your dance skills through the diversity of experience.
By attending these classes regularly, you will not only learn to swing dance, you will learn what you need to do to become a great dancer who others love dancing with.
