This class will delve into the intricacies of swing outs, a complex figure in Lindy Hop that comes in various styles and configurations.You'll learn about Savoy style, Hollywood style, The Whip, over-rotated swing outs, lazy fast swing outs, Charleston swing outs, perpendicular swing outs and Flying Lindy. Additionally, we will work on various levels of compression and connection within the swing out.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: This class is for intermediate dancers who can already lead/follow basic swing outs.
Part 2 will cover Swing Out "styling" and swing out variations for leads and follows.
No partner required.
Entry to the social dances and beginner drop-ins during the duration of the series are included with the purchase of all our series classes. Live Band Events not included.
