About this Event
Swing del Sur’s concept celebrates how music, drawing from a rich expanse of history and Gypsy Jazz instrumentation and inspiration, transcends the limitations of genre and time. We aim to craft an eclectic tapestry that defies conventional genre labels, blending diverse influences into a seamless whole. This fusion is refracted through our distinct interpretation of the traditional Gypsy guitar trio, utilizing 16 strings. Performers include Jeff Powell on Lead Guitar, Jeff Burg on Rhythm Guitar, and Eric Dunn (Double Bass).
A wine and cheese reception in Rahn Hall follows the concert. Children 12 and older are welcome to attend the event.
