A Seattle native, Stina Tillotson is a vocalist with a diverse background in jazz, blues, and soul, known for her rich alto voice and fresh interpretation of jazz standards. She is the 2025 first place winner of the 17th Annual Female Jazz Vocalist competition, organized by the Seattle Kobe Sister City Association. A Soundsation alum, Stina studied voice with Frank DeMiero, Kirk Marcy, and Rick Asher in the Edmonds College music program. In 2008, Stina attended the Centrum Jazz Workshop in Port Townsend where she first met D’Vonne Lewis and began collaborating with him. After ten years living out-of-state, Stina now performs and records with musicians in her hometown of Bainbridge Island and throughout Seattle. Stina has her eyes set on continuing to re-connect with the local jazz scene, dedicated to building community and supporting the next generation of jazz musicians. D'Vonne Lewis is an award-winning, first-call drummer, composer, and bandleader whose music moves between jazz, funk, hip-hop, and global traditions. A four-time recipient of the Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Award for "NW Instrumentalist of the Year," Lewis carries forward the legacy of his grandfather, Northwest organ pioneer Dave Lewis, while continuing to carve out his own distinct voice. Recipient of the Stranger Genius Award, Lewis remains a vital force in Seattle's music community, both on stage and through his work as a board member of the Seattle Jazz Fellowship.
